David Samuel - Managing Director
With 20 years experience in the industry, David has built up an intrinsic understanding of how technology and telecoms can improve business performance. His focus has been seeking out next-generation solutions and looking to innovate customer telephony systems.
His driven approach led him to set up 24 Seven in 2002 and one of his proudest moments was seeing the business become a Wholesale Network Operator, back in 2005.
24 Seven is David's passion and he works to grow and develop his customers' businesses through telecoms. His in-depth knowledge of the industry and practical solutions to customer challenges have ensured 24 Seven has grown while remaining at the top of its game.
Helen Lumb - Director of Operations
Helen has been an integral part of 24 Seven since the company began in 2002, and has seen the business go from strength to strength. Her day-to-day role varies from working closely with David on business development, to ensuring all the services offered by 24 Seven comply with ever-changing legalities and adhere to rules set out by regulatory bodies. She also handles the company's finance and is responsible for HR.
Dave Sowerby - Head of Billing
Dave heads up the billing team. His job is to ensure every bill dispatched by 24 Seven is up to date and accurate. His endless fascination with numbers and spread sheets makes this the ideal job for him, and he is always on hand to speak to customers and offer his help wherever he can.
Alexandra Brown - Provisioning and Accounts Manager
Alex has been working with 24 Seven for over three years. Her role incorporates provisioning numbers for customers and handling enquiries. Alex is responsible for managing relationships with 24 Seven's reseller partners. She is also the go-to person for information on industry guidelines.
Tracy Walker - Provisioning and Accounts Assistant
Tracy has worked for 24 Seven for 12 years. Having joined the company as part of customer service she now works in account management as Provisioning and Accounts Assistant. Her day‑to‑day role includes negotiating the very best deals for our customers so they can run their businesses efficiently.
Vinny Sohanpaul - Reseller Channel Manager
Vinny has been part of the telecoms and mobile industry since 2003. His previous experience in channel management bought him to 24 Seven in 2015 as Reseller Channel Manager.
Day to day, Vinny works with suppliers and channel partners to create new offerings and drive new sales and business.
The best things about his job are his relationships with the channel partners, as well as the whole process of helping partners to win business.
Alex Grant - Technical Director
Alex has over 14 years of experience working within the telecoms industry for both private and publicly listed companies. He has extensive experience both as a senior telecoms engineer and as a designer of telephony networks. His day‑to‑day duties include investigating new technologies, designing new products, and running the 24 Seven IP and telephony networks. His favourite thing about the job is working with cutting‑edge technology.
Marcus Child - Support Engineer
Marcus joined the company in 2015, with over 8 years' experience in the telecommunications industry specialising in 2nd line customer support escalations ‑ for mobile, fixed lines and broadband technologies. His role includes device testing, fault diagnostics and escalations to ensure that all technical issues are resolved promptly. Marcus enjoys being called upon to resolve any internal IT issues which will always start with "have you tried turning it off and on again".
Chris Tonks - Senior Developer
Chris Fahy - Senior Developer
Chris is a trained computer programmer and systems analyst with 32 years experience in computing. Many of these were spent working in the telecoms sector, designing and developing systems in a range of programming languages. Every day Chris carries out checks on the system to ensure everything is running smoothly for our customers. Unsurpisingly, Chris' interests include computer programming and problem solving.
Sean Gill - Developer
Sean has been working with 24 Seven for over two years. His day‑to‑day role involves management of the billing systems, building sites for new services, resolving any technical issues and fixing bugs. He also manages accessibility issues and creates new features for the customer facing web portals while trying to improve usability. Sean loves the variety of his job, along with its challenges including keeping Marcus in check.
Calum Ogg - Developer
Calum started at 24 Seven in 2015 and has 7 years experience working with websites and is fluent in a variety of front and back-end coding languages.
His main roles include developing new features and systems, along with maintaining the existing systems.
He enjoys the challenges and problem solving aspect of the job, as well as the creative freedom it offers. Outside of work his other interests include mobile app development and photography.
